Introducing solids to your baby sounds simple enough doesn’t it? Cooking up a storm of wonderful new purees can be great fun but how do you freeze and store all those new taste sensations and have them easily accessible for when your baby needs them?
Freezing and storing the baby food I’d cooked for my son became a ‘red rag to a bull’. Why? Well, I tried a number of different methods including ice cube trays and various shaped containers to find that none were really suitable. I broke lots of containers trying to remove the frozen cubes and they often weren’t the right meal portion either. I didn’t need the stress when I was trying to enjoy the experience of introducing solids to my baby boy. Out of frustration came creative inspiration and Qubies was born.
